Bath & Body Works June Sale...Get Your FREE Iraqi Wrist Band...
So, Sunday night was the June Sale almanac at Bath & Body Works, which means that we basically spent way to many after hours at the mall making our store look like a giant yard sale that lasts until the 6th of July!!! Damn you might say that is a sweet yard sale! Anyways...So I was moving a fixture (glass) and dropped all six glass shelves (didn't shatter a one) but I did bust the gift set on the top shelf...to make a long story short there was a lime-green scarf tied to the gift set so Allison, one of our managers told me I had to wear it as a wrist tie in memory of the gift set (It was very late at night, and we were very tired).
The next day I am at work (Office @ State) and my head boss comes into my office and sees the green scarf tied on my wrists and asks if its in support of the war on Iraq or something (I explain about the gift set...we talk about Harry Potter...he goes back to his office).
Monday night I told Allison about the Iraqi wrist band situation and she almost pees her pants in the back room. So we were joking around about it. Then I was helping a customer (an older woman, non-Iraqi) she asked me wear I got the scarf, and my big mouth tells her that "Oh this? You can get this Iraqi wrist band with this giftset" She looked at me like I was on crack!!! So I had to explain to her b/c Allsion is behind the counter rolling on the floor laughing. Thanks god the woman had a sense of humor!!! I am never wearing the Iraqi wrist band again!!!
