Half-Blood Prince... AWESOME!
The movie's been out since the 15th here, but I was only now able to get out and see it. And I have to say, it was definitely worth the wait. Of course, there was a lot of things that were in the book that weren't in the movie, but, that's the way things work.
I would have liked to see Dobby and Kreacher's little fight & so on, the 'chat' Dumbledore has with the Dursleys, maybe the meeting between the minister and the Muggle prime minister... I could go on and on, but really, the movie definitely makes up for the missing pieces in a big way.
As with the previous five movies, this one will make it very quickly into my DVD collection. According to a few sources, the release date to DVD will be December 7. Can hardly wait. And, hopefully, if my budget allows, I'll see it once more in the theatres.
As far as "Fate Twice Defied" goes, chapter 22 is coming along quite nicely, and I can give everyone a title... "The Dark Lord's Wake-Up Call", in which Voldemort learns the hard way exactly what Harry's warned him about.
As far as my fanfictions go in relation to the latest installment of the HP movies, nothing will really change, considering I have read "Half-Blood Prince" before going to see the movie. Now, do I think the book is better than the movie? Well, that's a toss-up. I'll leave it at that.
