Wake Trilogy by Lisa McMann

Has anyone else read this trilogy?  I read it in 3 days (a book a day).  Though honestly, had I had all the books, I probably could have read them all in 1 day.   This is the story of Janie, who is a dream catcher, which means she falls into people's dreams.  Most of her life is spent trying to avoid other people while they sleep, since she has no control of her ability.  If someone is dreaming within a 20-30 ft radius of her, she is instantly pulled into their dreams.  Eventually she meets another dreamcatcher at the nursing home she works at, and inherits her diaries and notes when the resident dies.  Through reading Mrs. Stubin's diaries, Janie learns how to control her ability and to help control the dreams.

Through her dream adventures, she is able to help the local law enforcement agency solve 2 crimes that involve her school.  She also has to come to terms with the side effects of dream catching, and make a choice between living a full life, or one of isolation.  What will she choose?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Janie's adventures, but I really wish the last book had an epilogue letting you know how her life turned out. The books in this trilogy are Wake, Fade, and Gone.
