Trying to get to the Gorge on the 10th - HELP!!!
Hi y'all -
I'm desperately seeking some help from anyone who might be going to the concert in Washington on September 10th.
I've just managed to get a ticket (which I wanted more than..... like - anything. EVER.)
But now I've hit a huge obstacle. I can't use it unless I can figure out how to get to and from the venue. And that's turning out not to be a small issue. AT ALL.
I live in Seattle and I don't own a car (or know anyone here who could/would drive me - already (seriously) exhausted that possibility). The Gorge is three hours away from here and out in the huge middle of NOWHERE. I've Googled everything in the world I could think of trying to figure out if there's any buses or anything that would go there, but I haven't been able to find anything.
I can't believe a place that draws that many people all the time has no mass transit way to get there. I really never even saw that coming.
(Now I could have a ticket but no way to use it?! *thumps her head on her desk and cries* )
I know I'm new here and I have no right at all to assume I can come here and plead, but I really can't remember the last time I wanted ANYTHING this bad. (Which I kinda figure....... if anyone would understand, it would be all of you.)
I've never seen Keith live and I'd do practically anything to get to this concert. (And I have a ticket!) I'd ride on a flippin' donkey if I only had one.
Is there any chance anybody else is going who would be anywhere near Seattle (I could get quite a ways from here to meet someone) who would offer me a ride?
I know none of you know me.......... and there's no reason at all why you should want to do me such a giant favor........... but....... I just have to ask. (I have to try.)
I would, of course, be oh-so-happy-to offer money to pay for gas. (As well as my right arm, any future first-born children, my vow of indentured servitude........... )
I promise I'm not weird or creepy. (chuckle) I even shower quite regularly! lol
I'm just a new fan who's fallen just so incredibly-hopelessly-flat-on-my-face hard for him, and I want to go more than I even know how to say.
Please, please some kind somebody help an Urban virgin get to have her moment?
