So I took a drive up to Wheaton this afternoon with my Mom. We had to drop off some tax forms and originally she was going to go alone but then I asked if I could leave school a little early to go with her and she said "Ok". My reaction to being on the campus; in the buildings, of my top choice school was the same as the first time I toured it - "OMG, I'm really at Wheaton." It was just so surreal to be there. Even though I'd been there before, it had become this story book place for me. It had become a place that only existed in my dreams.
I can't wait for college. I made a packing list last night - that's how excited I am. As one of my friends said today, "Nichole, you're way too excited for something that isn't even going to happen for at least another seven months."
