So we were going to see Australia on Thanksgiving Day but decided against it- we were tired and couldn't face sitting in a theater for 3 hours. Will have to rent that one, though I'm sure the visual effects would have been great in a theater. Has anyone seen it? Like it? Boring? Good?
So Dec 5th is supposedly Nobel Son. Trying to convince my mother to watch with me despite, as she puts it, Alan's wrinkly butt in sex scenes- WHY don't I have an Alan fan friend here to go with instead? Heh.
Then there's Valkyrie after Christmas. Yay for Eddie and Kenneth and other cool people.
Also found out today about Richard Curtis' new film- The Boat that Rocked- with Bill Nighy, Kenneth Branagh, Rhys whatisface, and Nick Frost. WOOT.
How on EARTH can Russell Crowe get away with playing Robin Hood AND the Sheriff?
Am completely and utterly in love with MI 5/Spooks after the first episode of Season 7. Am finding the rest of the season on youtube and going to be spending a lot of Netflix orders catching up on the first five seasons they have. *sigh* Shall take me 2 years... Anyone wanna lend me the DVDs?
Also, find it amusing that Matthew MacFaydon was replaced in sorts by Rupert Penry Jones and then by Richard Armitage. And, just so you know, first time I actually really liked Rupert and then they bloody go and kill him. *sigh* And Richard could speak Russian ALL DAY to me. Rock on.
Okay, back to organzing my avatar folder. :D Oh, yes, and I have a new LJ layout- Love Actually style. Check it out!
