Hurray!!!
Hey everyone -
Wow!! Today was such a good day, which adds to the fact that it's Friday - the start of the weekend!! I'm all super happy!! Hurray!!
Okay, so today at school, I got my homework done in English, and then I left choir at 9:00 to go to a doctor's appointment. Turns out, I have TWO ear infections. Ugh!! But my ears don't hurt. They're just a little plugged, so that's good. Anyways, after that, my mom and I went to McDonalds and I got cini-minis, hash browns, and milk for only $1.99!! Yummy! Then she dropped me off back at school, and I headed for speech.
Monday, we're presenting our oral presentations in Speech, and because I missed the first part of the class, I didn't get to be part of the numbering for speech order. I was signed up to go 11th, which was okay. I normally like being one of the first ones though. Then Brandon Lindsey said he'd trade places with me since he volunteered to go first, but he totally regretted it. So now I'm first!! I can get it over with and be done. Hurray!!
After speech, I went to Geography and took the usual Friday map quiz. I thought I did really well, but when I was correcting another person's paper, I realized that I switched two countries around. Zambia and Zimbabwe. I was so upset, because I've always gotten 100% on all my previous map quizzes, and if you get every single map quiz 100% accurate, you don't have to take the map portion of exams at the end of the year. So yeah, I was a little bummed. Then Mr. Polston passed out the quizzes, and guess what!! I got the countries all right after all!! I was so worried, and it turned out all good!! So that made me all hurray-ful!
After Geography, I had Science, and I took a test. I think I did a really good job on it, but I won't know until next week. Then I went to lunch, and then to geometry. And in geometry, we got chocolate chip cookies and juice boxes, because we were calculating the average number of chocolate chips in each cookie. Interesting, huh?
So yeah. I got home around 3:00, watched some TV (wow, I know). For those who don't know, I'm not a big TV person. So just being able to sit through a show is pretty good for me. Then I fell asleep on the couch for an hour, woke up at around 5:00, and took a shower. I shaved my legs too, so they're all smooth and prettyful!!
At 6:00, my mom and I went to a mother-daughter banquet for Girl Scouts. It was sooooo cool!! The food was awesome, and the dessert was fabulous also. And there was dancing!! I was totally into it, which was weird for me because I'm not too into being like that in front of people. Hee-hee... I think it was just 'cuz there were no guys around. And I was with some really cool friends - Kristen Anacker and Lauren LaMore. We're all cool 'cuz we don't care about boys or boyfriends. So we had soooo much fun together!! My mom got pictures too, lol... evilness. :)
So yeah. That's been my day. Nice and long and special!! I'm sorry for those of you who've read everything I've typed so far. It's a lot to get through. But there's always a lot to write when you're happy.
Anyways, I'd better go for all those people who've been true and have stuck to this journal entry so far. Good job!! Have a great weekend, everyone!!
