So I'm on eBay, looking at Universal Remotes. Familiar with the concept? Basically, you get one programmable remote that replaces all your individual remotes - the one for your telly, the one for the satellite box, the one for the DVD player, the one for the stereo, the one for the VCR, etc. - and even combines them, so that, for instance, one button turns on the telly, tunes it in to the DVD player, turns on the DVD player and starts the DVD. I was interested and getting a feel for prices.
I pick this auction, mostly because it has a decent picture of the product rather than looking closely at the price, and it looks okay, when suddenly I realise it's buy one, get one free.
