New Years!
Happy New Year all!
I had an awesome trip to Philip Island! I stayed at Kim's holiday house for a few days, which was great. I had an awesome time at the beach. It's funny, I am not usually a "beach" person however I enjoyed swimming at one of Australia's most dangerous beaches, Cape Woolamai. Want to know why? There is no seaweed there! Just nice big waves and a massive under current. Playing in the surf rocked. I didn't get sunburned and I love snorkeling!
I finally met all Kim's life guard/saver friends. I enjoyed New Years eve at the surf life saving club. It was a great party. Yes I picked up! Well he was significantly older than me, but it was ok!
There was a guy at the Life saving club, Allen, who would do anything you asked him to at the drop of a hat. He stayed sober on NYE and took Kim and I back to her place! What an angel, so we bought him a box of chocolates for his good nature! I was all cynical and no longer thought good honest people were no existant! Not true. There is still hope for humanity.
The Island was great. I visted the Nobbies, Cowes, Rhyill. Went on a neat walk through the mangroves.
A significant amount of alcohol was consumed throughout the trip. I also soaked up the sun!
I heared from work friends whilst I was away. Seems like Gus's new car is attracting the women (Bloody Volvo driver!!!) and Andy G had been living it up back in the city.
