Praise 97% Fat-free Creamy Mayonnaise
Can anyone here tell me if Praise's 97% Fat Free Creamy Mayonnaise is definitely vegan? I'm going to e-mail them, but I thought I might get a quicker response here, from someone who's already contacted the company. The only ingredient I'm unsure about is "flavour", which could be derived from anything.
The two sources that I've found claiming this particular mayo as vegan are the Veg Society of Queensland and the Vegetarian Network Victoria.
It would be great to have a reliable source of ready-made vegan mayonnaise, especially a low-fat variety. I really love Kingland's Soy Mayonnaise, but my local Coles (the only local store that usually sells it), hasn't had it in stock since October, which means I'll have to request it. This isn't the first time they've run out of a vegetarian product and not bothered to re-stock... though they've started selling Tropical Source's raspberry dark chocolate blocks so I suppose that will have to appease my wrath for the time being. ;P
