Rudest people I've met. *sorry to offend any Southern Californians who made read this*.... I was told not take too much offense. Apparently their motto is "Welcome to Southern California, now go home!"
The biggest problem with going somewhere I associate with Ansel Adams photos is that I'd expect to see the landscape in grey-scale. Kinda wouldn't be the same.... but hey, I sure as hell wouldn't mind a mud-bath in one of those natural mud pools.
> 3) Antarctica and Australia I have never been to Aryes Rock, but Jo has been twice, and she has climbed up to the top of the rock. It's called "Uluru" (pronounced oo - la - roo) by the locals, and Jo thinks it's an awe-inspiring place... And yes, kill two birds with one stone; if you're going to fly all the way here, you may as well keep going onto the very great southern land, coz I'll be quite frank in sharing here ~ the plane rides are a f**king nightmare!!!!
> 4) Iceland and Greenland *you're NUTS!!*
> 5) Europe - specifically, Italy *ehhmmm... maybe northern Italy*. I have the most special academic friend who has twice offered me a chance to go and work in Milan with him, but the only Italian I know is "it'sa me, Mario", and "I'ma Luigi, I'ma numberra one-a". Some-how don't think I'd cut it!
