i actually wasn't impressed by his humor. i may have been at the time i leaned over to you and said "hey, he has a sense of humor" but it was really more being surprised than being impressed (because lets face it, he doesn't come off as a happy-go-lucky kind of guy most of the time). and the more i thought about it and the more cracks he made at dubya, the more it actually sort of bothered me. i thought it was sort of tasteless, like he could have been above mocking dubya's accent and whatnot (and the comments about the dancing... well that didn't bother me so much as it was just damn corny). BUT, like my dad said, kerry knew he could say whatever the hell he wanted because do you think that rally was really going to turn anyone there against him? you can say whatever you want when you have a baseball stadium full of your worshippers hanging on your every word ( ... )

as someone who has been to, well really more of these rallys than an average non-obsessed person, i have to say that just reading your post got me all excited. i just saw him on friday, (for like the 4th time) and was once again amazed. i like his dry humor, i think it suits him. and i also like that he makes jabs at W. everyone wants to hear it, he seems like a pussy if he's too afraid to say anything mean about him and his character and his little "quirks". and it keeps the mood light at the rallys. people want to see him as a little more average, and that helps ( ... )
