I must say this is not going to be nearly as interesting and well written as John's recent livejournal. But nonetheless...
The highlights of my first two weekends in the Fort have been trips to Blockbuster. Last weekend I rented "The Cooler" with Alec Baldwin and William H. Macy. I had seen the trailer during one of my many visits to apple.com and thought it was worth looking into. It was an okay, kind of odd movie that I don't think I would watch again but was interesting enough the first time. This week I had the misfortune of renting "Win A Date With Tad (not Todd, as Lubkert corrected me) Hamilton. I might have to say that this is the worst chick flick I have seen in a long time, if not ever. I warn anyone who is thinking about wasting their $5 to see it...don't!
In between my two weekend trips to Blockbuster I successfully had my wisdom teeth removed. I made it through the week with considerable ease, watching 11 hours of television a day on the couch. The pain was relatively minor with the aid of some nice pain killers. And I must say, the experience was much less than notable than some of the stories I have heard, particularly Kim's version. Perhaps it was made the experience better that I thought it was going to be so painful. Who knows? It is over now and I am almost back to eating crunchy, solid foods...happy day!
