Just for Kristy
Wow, what a weekend.
At 9PM Friday night Kim, Ashley, and I decided to take a trip to Xavier and suprise the XU boys. We quickly threw some stuff in bags, grabbed our coats and headed to the car. On our way to the parking lot Kim turned to me and said, "I feel like I am going to throw up. I don't usually make decisions like this."
I know Kim, I know.
We made it to the 2012 a little before ten and walked in the front door and right upstairs like we were home. Matt and Eric stared at us for a minute in disbelief that we were there. We found Joey and bit later after finding the door to the basement, which is very well hidden. The trip was well worth it. We woke up at 6:30 Saturday morning to get back in time to have Kim in line to get basketball tickets with Sarah. On our way out we woke Joey and Eric up to tell them goodbye. I doubt either of them remember as they both mumbled at us and rolled over.
Saturday we watched the XU/UD game, well half of the XU/UD game. The cable in VWK went out about a minute after halftime. We were down by 2 when the cable went out and by the time we got the radio on were down by 11. It is kind of good that we didn't have to see the end of the game, it kind of lessened the blow a little bit.
Kim's friends Shan-non, Michelle, and Bouza came down for the night. We took them to Chipotle for their first time, went on a search for margarita mix in Walmart and a bit of snapple, and hung out in Kim's room for a bit. We then migrated to Carrie's room for a little beirut tournament. Kim and Shannon won the 'ship as they call it. We danced, we drunk dialed, we went to bed. It was quite the night.
Oh, and how could I forget, guess who called Kimber's cell phone? The infamous Denny. I will never forget the look on her face when she walked in the room...hilarious.
