Holy. Crap.
I'm listening to NPR and cruising some websites, and I think it's safe to say that this is a good night for american democracy!!! Across the country, folks are saying that -- though it's still okay to not let queers get hitched -- they are tired of the way things have been going in our country. Nationally, we have our first female Speaker of the House and South Dakota said "HELL NO" to banning abortion. Here in beautiful Oregon, we've (so far) turned down a measure requiring teen women to notify their parents before getting an abortion, the republican candidate for govenor just conceded, and Portland is prioritizing green spaces.
I could cry.
