Drabble: Smarting, Red
I am woefully behind on writing my drabble prompts! Hubby and I are getting ready to go on a trip to AZ so...excuses, excuses.
But with all the Stug love this week, I couldn't help but fill justinlovesart"s prompt for Ste/Doug: "Doug takes Ste's hand while the shop is full and licks one of his fingers." I again took some liberties with this one, but I think you'll like it. :)
Ste curses sharply, accompanied by the hiss of the espresso machine .
Doug flies through the swinging door. He sees the coffee splattered floor and Ste's smarting finger.
"Here." With one hand Doug silences the complicated apparatus. The other guides Ste's red digit to his mouth. It is nurturing, meant to sooth the burn, nothing else. But then Ste gasps, his finger pressing against Doug's tongue lightly.
The pupils of Ste's eyes flare.
They haven't done this. Ste's lips and hands have rocked his world enough.
He drops Ste's hand and swallows. "Ok?"
"I will be," He smiles mischievously . "Later."
