Well hello there LJ...
So I finally finished my fic for hp_emofest It's edited, betaed and sent off to the mods!!! It's remarkable really because back in July I was pretty much convinced I would never finish it, certainly not in the way I envisioned it. I was all ready to drop out of the fest and yet here I am with a 9,000 word completed fic and I'm actually pretty happy with it! Posting starts September 1st! Even though my pairing is Draco/Hermione, this fest includes all sorts of HP pairings, het and slash.
In other writing news: My Queer as Magic Verse has been recced on crack_brooms, an HP reccing commmunity! I still really feel like those three stories may well be my magnum opus. I can't imagine investing myself into something like that (for that amount of time!) again. At least not any time soon. It's really wonderful that it is still getting some positive buzz out there on LJ as I'm still quite proud of it. If you're curious, you can check out the rec post here. I'm really quite tickeled. :)
I'm in the mood now to write something short and silly now. I have a few bunnies with potential for fleshing out and you all know you'll be the first to hear of it!
