Just something I've noticed about the Gays of Daytime Soap phenomenon:

First came Christian and Oliver on Verbotene Liebe.

Now there is Christian and Syed on EastEnders.

Then came Oliver and Kyle on One Life to Live. (And Oliver's roommate is named Christian BTW)

Random or on purpose? Because surely the writers on these soaps are aware of each other right??? Anyway, just my thoughts!
