Hmm, well, it looks like the apocalypse is on hold - which is good. Of course, if it's allowed to start again, we'll be right back in the same mess... so finding and stopping them before they can work up another ritual would be ideal. I'm in a good mood today, though... Lucinda seems much happier. Perhaps things really have been averted... I wonder...

Today was really fun! Ayla and I got full permission from Helios to go tear-assing all over the sky to screw with the concept of high noon. Well, okay, he wanted me to divebomb them and launch flaming balls of death - I think that's the button next to the windshield wipers... funny thing, those. If you didn't realize that the bus has to have its fires turned off sometimes, you'd think they were useless. But anyhow, we didn't see any big demon rituals from all the way up there in the sky - still, we had fun driving the bus around randomly and rapidly. Helios wasn't willing to let me do it until I told him about Orchid's vision, and how they were planning on wrecking the sun bus and dropping it in the ocean as soon as the ritual was complete. Then he wanted to go charbroil demon butt himself. Hehehe... anyhow, it's been a fun day.

Samantha and Cedric found us a job today... helping some barely dressed man find a crystal to avert a curse. We get any valuables we find, plus ten gold for the day's work. Cedric may also want his body. It'll do, I guess... Nested Falcon's eating up our nest egg, and now we have nothing to do. It makes me twitch to think that our great and holy works have basically been for naught, and set up by minions of demons, besides... I wonder, though, if it's merely an attempt to convince us -not- to slay them, so that they might be safer than if we had been set forth without their temporary 'assistance'?
I saw Father recently... he is very angry at the girls, and their respective companions. I think he might disown them as harlots - or slaughter the fiends to avenge their stolen honor. He told me to be strong and wait, for there is certain to be a time when there is no obstruction to justice. I wish things were as easy here as they were in Vox.

Poor sheep-girl - I didn't know. She looks happy, though...
