i want to be know as a person

everyone wants to be seen as a person. i don't care what race or religion a person is, they just want to be seen as themselves. a white person is put down because they are white. a black person is put down because they are black. an asian is put down because they are asian. and so on. no one is superior and no one is inferior. we are all the same. the man on the corner and the man in the mansion want to be seen the same way. as a man (or woman) with thoughts, emotions, goals, future, past, religion, strengths, weaknesses, etc., a person.

don't get up and walk away from me because of my skin tone when i am putting myself out there. i want you to get to know me. the real me. not what you see on the outside or my job title or my past or my future. i am more than just titles. i am complex.

not matter what race you are, there are always racists.
