Nothing to do

I am sitting here with nothing to do. I should probably go to sleep and be ready for work tomarrow. I am out of training now and am a full fledged manager. I dont know if staying in the same restaurant that i trained in was such a great idea. It is hard asserting myself as the boss when I just spent the last 9 weeks as the trainee. I think

When I worked at Winn-Dixie I got promoted to Dairy-Frozen Food manager and had trouble for a while with employees that I use to work with on the stock crew. It can be difficult to assert your authority with those people and often they're bitter about your success. Not much you can do except continue to assert your authority and stand your ground. They're going to get pissed at you and may say nasty things about you behind your back but eventually they get tired of the constant battle and either shape up or quit.

And no, you're not the only person out there who isn't married!
