Wonderful Copenhagen

Oscar´s birthday was on Friday. I bought him an iPod Nano on Thursday and he spent all of Friday listening to music, which was very nice :) Aside from that, we went on a train quest to find a winery in southern Switzerland, which mostly resulted in us getting rained on. Oh well. It was a beautiful trip anyway, through more mountains. We still aren´t tired of seeing beautiful mountains.

Too bad though, because we´re in Denmark now, which is rather flat.

But I digress..

Anu baked an amazing black forrest torte (her mother refused to call it just a ´cake´, as ´cake´ does not properly convery the majesty of said dessert) and we had a lovely dinner together. Oscar also recieved a CD of Swiss yodelling. Hooray!

On Saturday morning we *finally* got to hear Anu play her violin. It was worth the 6 year wait :) We then packed ourselves off to Zürich to catch our flight.

So, as I said, we´re in Copenhagen right now. Haven´t done too much, just wandered about a bit and visited Tivoli, the amusment park and gardens in central Copenhagen. Hopefully, we´ll be able to hire some bikes tomorrow and go for a long cycle around the city. We´re staying in a hostel, which is very modern and clean.

We´ll be here until Tuesday. On Tuesday evening, we´re taking the ferry to Oslo.

Yay Scandenavia! :)

(Btw, Oscar told me to correct my mistake in a previous post- I wrote that Stockhorn, the mountain we visited, was 1160m above sea level, but it is actually 2160. Oops.)
