Lazy post from Switzerland
I know, I've been a bad girl. Seriously, I have *wanted* to update for many days. However, I've been in Italy, and nothing in Italy is ever that simple.
But now we're in Switzerland! Switzerland: organised, polite, clean, on-time and beautiful! After the utter chaos of Italy, I feel like we're in paradise.
Not that Italy didn't have its pleasures. Like the food. My God, the food. I ate pizza pretty much every day, and could have continued for the rest of my live if it kept being that bloody good. We also got to spend time with Satu, which was fantastic (although it seems that she now has a cold that bears a suspicious resemblence to mine- sorry Satu!).
Here are the three of us in a bar in Turin. We had drinks and snacks (when I say snacks I mean enough for dinner) there. The place featured zebra and leapord print furniture, a plasma screen of flair cocktail and skateboarding competitions and general funky weirdness.
We also liked Pisa a lot. It's a lively university town, with a lot less of the murderous traffic that makes crossing the road in Italy such a deadly hazzard. The leaning tower is also really, really cool. I don't normally like touristy stuff, but climbing the leaning tower was just plain bizzare, and the skewed view from the top was fantastic too.

I also admired the statury in Florence.
So now we're in Thun in Switzerland. With intnernet access! Yay!
Anyway, it is late and I want to go to bed. It's been very nice actually getting to use some modern technology, but I need to sleep now. Will try to fit some posting time in tomorrow.
