Did anyone here watch the final episode of Doc Martin on ABC? What did you think?

I did! What a great show, glad someone else is watching.

I guess the Martin/Louisa thing was one of those situations where if they'd got married and lived happily ever after, what then? I am assuming it is an ongoing series?

Apparently a fourth season has been commissioned but it probably won't be shown until 2009. Bah! I can't wait that long!

I quite liked it. I thought it was smart to acknowledge that they are both very, very incompatible people and not have everything work out. If there's another season it'll be interesting to see where they go with it and I do think they would work up to that happy ending, but I think both characters still want quite different things and it would just have been too much of a leap for it to have happened yet.
