i tried really hard to rest as much as possible before [and during] my trip, but yesterday morning i woke up with a 101 fever and stayed home while glenn and sara went to the met and out dancing with my friends. today, i have to go to the doctor [with no health insurance] and get some kind of prescription for antibiotics so i'm not bed-ridden my entire vacation. blah. at least i got to see belle&sebastian. that would pretty much be worth the entire trip here.

i'm still grouchy about this whole thing in a very serious way, though.
