Though yes, I used the same pattern :) Really not digging the body shape, he looks more like a sad Airedale than a Mabari. But I love the red brindle fur -- the true color shows better in the outdoor shot -- and I'm delighted with how his war paint turned out. I'm not sure if I'll do another one or not, it'll take quite a lot of trial and error reshaping the body.
This Mabari in specific is "Bear", Raleth's faithful if uncreatively named companion.
