Sunburns and Hot Tubs
The rest of my last entry....
Saturday was fun, despite ending the day with red shoulders and chest. I have the oddest sunburn ever from the way my dress and bodice were sitting. It was quite hot. Since we're going back in May for Pirate Weekend, we decided we are going to make some costume adjustments or we'll definitely be roasting. Crystal's even going to attempt making corsets! :-) We bought pantaloons to use in our costuming needs as well. I'm quite looking forward to making myself into a pirate once again.
I've decided that it's an unspoken rule that you have to talk with strangers if you're sitting in the same hot tub as them. We went down to the hot tub twice on Saturday and both times, people eventually joined us. It was as though the moment they got in the hot tub, they felt obligated to start talking. It was the typical "why are you here" and "where are you from" sort of stuff. It was interesting though to watch the way it all played out.
Well, I'm off to research werewolves, history of Charleston, and develop Aiden's character further! I'm super excited about writing this new novel, can't you tell?
