Goodie!

Yesterday, I wrote. I didn't just piddle around with ideas or anything, I actually sat down and wrote. And it felt good.

I wrote almost 700 words on my entry for this week's brigits_flame competition:  Forever Jasmine  So I'm officially ready to go on the week 1 contest a few days early. That never happens. I'm normally doing things at the last minute.

I also wrote the first chapter of a new novel that we will be posting to Two to Write. We're starting a new novel for several reasons. The first one is that Night's Final Hour is nearing and end and will soon be a complete novel. The second is that we feel like we need something published on Thursdays to fill out the week. And the third (and perhaps most important) is that we would love to share something with our readers that isn't fantasy. So, if you've been following T2W or would like to start, then keep an eye out for more information about our new novel that should start going up on Thursdays as soon as we have a title for it. Titles are super important to me and I can't publish (or harldy write on something) unless it has a great title.

Another small Two to Write secret, Night's Final Hour may be almost at an end, but I can promise you that the story of Benjamin and Ivy is no where near an end. I'm really excited about where they're story is headed.

I also read yesterday. In the past week, I have read four books (the first four Vampire Diary books). I haven't read this quick or this much in a long time. I am so excited to finally have found sometime to enjoy one of my favorite pasttimes. I will be posting a review of the Vampire Diaries books to my blog in the near future if you're curious about them. I will say this now: they are way different than the show. Which, for me, is a good thing because it makes them more entertaining to read.

There we have it - a post, though not the update post I need to do. That will have to wait, as I'm off to read some more and hopefully accomplish more on my to do list.

to do, vampire diaries, night's final hour, benjamin delacroix, untitled piece, music, ivy mae carter, brigits flame, reading, writing, two to write
