Note to myself: no matter how festive it feels at the time, transfiguring a chair into a makeshift Christmas tree isn't a good idea. Most notably when you've had at the brandy, and you're entirely convinced that it's the cats telling you to it'd be ace to have a tree with no pine needles on it.
