At an Arms Reach

You keep me at an arms reach
Here one day, gone the next
I just sit here and wonder what will happen next
At an arms reach I stay
Will I stay or will I go
Something I feel like a yoyo
I know what I want and how I feel
But will I ever get the real deal?
At an arms reach I stay
So broken inside, all I seem to do is cry
So why can't you see this is killing me?
I gave my all but it seemed all to small
Was it ever enough or are you just that tough?
At an arms reach I stay
Why can't you love me and why can't you see
You're all I ever wanted and so much more to me
At an arms reach I stay
If you love them set them free they all say
It it's meant to be it will be
So all I can be is me and set you free
The broken heart will and one day,
One day I'll see maybe you weren't the one for me
At an arms reach I go……
