Ohhh, I should be --
--whatthefork? I just noticed that LiveJournal seems to look a bit different from what I remember! Not a lot, I guess, but this probably means that my observation skills are leaving me. Wave bye-bye!
Anywho. What was I saying? Something about how I ought to be studying? ...naaah. I think I'm okay for Calculus tomorrow, actually, but I do still have to start getting nervous for Physics. Then Chemistry lab. Then Chemistry and Intro to BME on the same day. And then (finally!) I will get to go home. This is, of course, a wonderful thing. At the same time, I'm really going to miss the campus, and all of the wonderful people here who put up with me willingly! Ah, I love all of my friends -- both from back home and in college. Hope I tell you guys that enough.
I also need to make a run to Target, which I should probably do now so that I'll be back well before it gets dark. Last time I was out at night, we had a rather nerve-rattling experience. Thankfully, though, we were a pretty large group, and everything turned out all right.
OH! Oh. I almost forgot!
So there is this friend-of-a-friend named Rafa who is from Puerto Rico, and he's got a girlfriend named Mariana (Maru for short) who is also from Puerto Rico, but who is a senior in high school now. She and David came up with a scheme to get her here to St. Louis (under the pretense that she was visiting her brother, who also attends WashU), and then when she got here, Erin and I wrapped her up with wrapping paper and a little bow. Both of which she brought herself. Did I mention that this girl is pretty much the embodiment of cuteness? She brought us candy canes and gave David this little pirate doll with a hook and a peg leg that was made entirely of one piece of string. Its name is "Captain Bad."
Again: cute!
Anyway, Rafa was very happy, which was the whole point, so I'd call their scheme a success.
And now I think I will go to Target.
Good luck with all of your end-of-semester projects, tests, and other various insanities!

(I miss my roommate already. And she's only just left. What to do; what to do?)
