Raaaaaa. I just lost the whole entry I typed.
Blah.
Anyway, I just had a nice chat with Erin, one of the girls I'm going to be rooming with. She seems really nice; I don't think we'll have any problems getting along. She's planning to major in Anthropology and Environmental Studies.
Also, she has a hermit crab named Sauron ("I figured that would give him something to aspire to.").
I was dragged off to go shopping for clothes yesterday in light of the tax-free weekend, but my whole family has decided that it's probably not worth the eight percent to attempt going again today or tomorrow, as the stores will be absolutely crazy. I think I've got enough clothes, though, to keep my parents assured that no, I won't be wearing the exact same thing every day, just variations of the same thing. Can't say I'm disappointed... shopping is not exactly high up on my list of fun things to do.
I think we're still about to leave for somewhere, though. I'm being called off.
