Jan didn’t find Michael Scott amusing. There were a lot of words she could use to describe him, that just wasn’t one of them. In fact, she refused to let it be one of them. So when he called her during the day and made one of his typical inane jokes and she maybe let slip a chuckle, that was really just to be patronizing, or maybe sometimes to be nice. Not because she thought he was funny. Definitely not.
Though she had to admit, the many and varied ways he found to throw a “that’s what she said” into everyday conversation was...impressive. And okay, maybe she laughed more than she should.
But still, she refused to admit that Michael was amusing.
Okay, okay. Maybe...just maybe...he was funny. Maybe he made her laugh, genuinely and quite a bit.
Now, charming. Jan did not find Michael Scott charming...
