Today is my day off from work and class, and so I spent most of my morning curled up in the closet spending time with my kittens. And luckily enough, three of them decided that they wanted to take their naps hanging halfway out of the nest. You know what that means!

You got a nice assortment! If any of them look extra fuzzy you might have some long-haired ones--Zephyr's litter had two short & two long in it, but it's hard to tell when they're tiny.
Thank you for all the description and details! I'm a sucker for torties, so I'm having all kinds of envy over here. It looks like they're all doing great, too! Active little guys for being so new.
My Binya was so much like Amba as a mom--she wanted me to handle the kittens, wanted to be petted while she nursed. It went against general wisdom but was great. When one of them squirmed too far away but the others were all nursing, she would look at the crying, too-far-away kitten and then look up at me and meow. It meant "put that kitten back please so I don't have to dislodge all his brothers." I loved it. Also, having such a sweet mom definitely helped with the kitten socialization--they were little loves practically from the start. (Of course, they also thought they were ferrets, and Binya adopted a baby ferret into the litter. Talk about awwwww there too.)
YAY KITTENS!

And they are So. Feisty.
Well, for only being three days old, anyway. Mostly they sleep, but when they're nursing, they squabble so much! They get into little slap fights. Amba just looks on adoringly.
I wish I could have gotten pics of them with their little yawns, too, but they squirm too much then for the camera to focus. I literally took just under 100 pictures today! The ones I posted are the best ones. :-)
