August Epiphany
I kind of knew this in the back of my mind, but it only really just made real, cohesive sense this evening. Though what I do with these techniques may be modern, as I do them, I can pretend I am from another time period. I don’t need a DeLorean, time-turner, or TARDIS to go back in time; all I need is a needle and thread, loom, dye bath, spinning wheel, or even a piece of wool, for that matter, to time travel. I know it sounds sappy, but it’s true. I can be in whatever time I want to be, ‘cause my art is timeless. :P But not in a classy or awesome way, obviously, but… You know what I mean.
