At the University of Saskatchewan most of the major buildings are connected by tunnels or walkways. The winter gets cold, yo. So students don't have to go outside to get to most of their classes. In the wintertime, there's alwyas a few students who live in res that rub it in everybody's faces that they don't have to go outside, by wearing shorts to class. Boooooo! Oh well, I likes the code.

Not sure of any Canadian cities that have ALOT of underground stuff, other than a few buildings connected with tunnels. Saskatoon contemplated building a roof over the downtown area (seriously). That was quite a few years ago though. That would be hilarious, except for all the bums who would flock to the city in the winter.
