Pancakes and other goings-on.

So looking back at my May 9th entry I wrote, and I quote: "i can't stop eating pancakes! mmmmmm num num num."
Coincidentally exactly 4 months later....I feel EXACTLY THE SAME WAY.

I love pancakes so freaking much. I eat them every single day and get this ladies and gentlemen....I make them in the microwave.
Yes. I actually COOK pancakes in the microwave...and I'll tell you why.
I'm lazy.
All the work that goes into making normal pancakes (preparing a skillet, buttering the skillet, mixing eggs, milk and batter in a bowl...etc) can simply be avoided by buying some "just add water" mix from Hungry Jack or Aunt Jamima. By putting a little bit of mix in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring it and popping it into the microwave, I make myself delicious-ready-to-eat pancakes in just minutes.
Aesthetically they're not quite up to par...but once I've drenched them in lite-maple syrup, I find that the taste is EXACTLY the same, equal in deliciousness...and I quote, "i can't stop eating pancakes! mmmmmm num num num."

okay. that being said, it's Ramadan and I'm fasting again. I'm hungry. I'm lying in bed trying to think up the most exquisite combination of foods to celebrate "the breaking of the fast ritual" at sundown.

Tomorrow my mommy and I are flying to Colorado to attend George's son's wedding. That's right C.B. is finally tying the knot. Well done old chap....

We'll be back on Sunday night so I'll be available for love after the 14th of this month...scribble me into your agenda.

So flash back to the last 3 months: Egypt was fun....I got to spend some much needed time in the sun and on the beaches of the Mediterranean. I husband-searched and found the entire country to be barren--nice. I job searched as well and found that I could become very famous, very fast over there, between the exchange rates and my various connections, so I've decided to store that route on a back-burner while I first struggle through mediocrity for a few years in the U.S.

Currently unemployed, I've enjoyed every minute of my new-found 'boxed freedom'....I say boxed because even though I am "free" I still have tremendous amounts of responsibility looming over my head as well as confronting the social pressures of being jobless. However, Cornell's beatings taught me how to use my time efficiently by sparing me little-to-no time for diversions or fun thereby revealing to me my true friends and priorities.

Anyway....post more later :p
