Finally updateing....again...
Tons to write about but not enough time to do it.
First off...it's official...I have sent in my application for college and the application payment has been accepted and the application is being processed. I sent it in Friday morning in between cooking and napping. lol. I'm excited, yet scared. I know that I have everything in place right now but i'm just affraid that i'm going to get the dreaded...i'm sorry we can't accept you letter.I highly doubt it will happen, but eh...with me anything is possible.
I saw Twilight with Beth. Gave it a 7 out of 10. Not bad. Horrid effects...but that's what you get for not having a lot of money to spend on ILM. Next one will be better.
Thanksgiving SUCKED! We had to deal with issues from BOTH exs over the kids. (Go figure) We decided a few weeks ago that we would forgo the entire spazzing of driving around to all different places by choosing 2 places to go and then on Friday we'd do our own thing and invite who ever we felt like. So Thursday morning came around and after shipping Raegan off to DB's house, Mike and I enjoyed ourselves by sitting around the house and doing NOTHING! It was great. I finished reading the 3rd book in a series that I was reading. I'll chat more about that in a minute. It was nice to actually enjoy the day and not feel rushed to do anything. So we dressed and left on our two location trip. We returned home around 7pm, welcomed both girls back home, bathed them, and then tucked them into bed. Friday wasn't to bad either except that most of the "Friends" we invited stood us up. I do feel bad though, cause Todd tried calling me to say that he wanted to stop by since he was up north, but stress and bad timing didn't allow that to pan out. So instead we ate and chated with the family folks, and then kicked everyone out around 7pm. Mikes mom dropped by around 8pm to say hi to the girls and visit after she got off work. By 10pm the house was cleaned up and put away. No so eventfull. Honestly I was hurt at how lame this Holiday was. Atleast lastyear was interesting cause DB called Mikes house cussing me out. Yeah I know..not s cool...but atleast it was something. Whatever. I'm over it. I know shit comes up...but really...pick up a F*ing phone and call someone. Don't leave them standing around waiting for you to show up. Yes I do know and acknowledge that the majority of my group of friends called or texted and told me days before.....i'm not really yelling at you guys. It's the others.....you know who you are. =P But like I said...whatever. Those certain people have been falling out of our lives for a while now.
Moving on...
So...this new series that I had been reading is called The House of Night. It's by P.C. and Kristen Cast. It's about kids who get marked to become vampyres when they hit puberty and then they must attend one of the schools called....The House of Night. The story centers around Zoey and her "issues" changeing from a human to a fledgling. It's really good. I would highly recomend the book to my vast group of friends. Even those who HATED Twilight. It's like a cross between Twilight and HP. (Vampyre meets "chosen one") I finished all 4 books in under 35 hours. I'm addicted. The 5th book in the series comes out in March 09. The authors have even sold the rights to make the series into a film. But i'm not sure how well that will work out seeing as the first four books take place in the time period of 3 months. It's a lot of stuff happening in a short period of time, but it's deffinatly fun to read. Lots of twists and turns. Very very small amount of teenage drama. Unlike Twilight. If you read or are reading Twilight and you like the concept but hate the teenage "Crap", then maybe you should try House of Night.
Work is starting to slow down. I've got one more full week of classes then I go to two a week for 2 weeks. I'm projecting maximum of 2 weeks off. Minimum of 2 weeks. Things should pick back up the 2nd or 3rd week of January. I have been bounceing back and forth about trying to get a part time job for that down time, but i'm not sure. If I do it would only be for a few weeks since my main job will go back into FULL swing by the last week in January and then college classes begin around the same time. I know that we could use the extra cash, since we're good on paying bills, but short on having anything to give the girls a nice christmas. I just don't know if i'd feel right working for a place for a few weeks then quiting on them. I really doubt that i'd be able to handle two jobs and full time college. But who knows. We'll just have to wait and see.
Well...I think that's about it for right now. I'm up later than usual and it's starting to get to me. So...off I go to bed
