you sucked me out because ICELAND ACCURACY Icelanders have the darkest hair color of all of the Nordics (including Finns) on average, along with the very, very Celtic-influenced blood that dates back to the viking age (it's enough Celtic blood to have the Icelandic bloodlines always listed as Norse/Celtic), I just really wish that all Icelands would be strawberry blond uvu so my Nyo shall be so until canonically proved otherwise. I also have a good headcanon on how Aisu ended up with ashy hair.
