I've always maintained law school is the most emotinally challenging thing I've done

So I read this in a law student magazine and it so describes my past three years:

"Whether you've graduated from law school or your in the midst of the drama, there is one fact you cannot ignore -- the emotional turbulence of those three years will change you forever. The continual reading, studying, analyzing and writing take their toll, leaving vibrant, hardy pupils as sapped and withered as my bookshelf's neglected spider plants."

"Even bodily reactions tell of students' prolonged, shoddy emotional states -- the softened muscles, the recurring illnesses, or the sudden nearsightedness. Automatic mental reactions tell the same story -- the feeling your spouse is suddenly a better cook; the feeling that while you sleep a roommate is stealing the perfect negligence formula from your outlines; and don't forget the loss of creativity. That went like a half-priced Gilberts [a good study aid]."
