...was so fun! Griffin had an extra ticket to the show, so happy surprise I gotta see Talka Talka, Archetecture in Helsinki and the Clap yesterday night. After a whole summer of knowing & bs'n w/ this guy he finally admits he was in the Mighty Mighty Bosstones for 10 years...suspicions confirmed. He is my current fav roomie, cause he is an endless store of relationship advice from a dudes standpoint. Anyhoos, the show was great, I gotta see Amy, who had the honor of being a runner, so exiting...also saw Bridget from the SEB, ooo back in the day. I showed up kinda tanked cause I ran into Katie Burke at work & dragged her to the Contour, where I clocked out early & we proceeded to drink the Hefe & Driftwood with abandon. I love that girl, she is always a store of big impressive words used just so, as well as a trove of witty remarks. Then Jen showed up from work, who is always lovely to see, then off to another meeting with her...oh so professional. We were both at the Westin this morning, oddly enough, me volunteering for the Powerful Voices luncheon(which I actually got to attend & eat the oh so delicious food & listen to some amazing speakers/young women)& her having a meeting w/ the Coldwater Cafe. I'm really glad I decided to wear my dress over jeans, cause it was a very formal affair, with local dignitaries such as Bobbe Bridge WA supreme court justice attending... So tonight the Weekly is at Ibiza, I'm exited, although I can't even think about alcohol right now...blehhh. Ohhh, so odd, I saw Nick from WSU's music dept. this morning on my walk to work, he works up on Cap Hill now, it was bizarro. He asked after Joe, which was sad, cause I know nothing & wish everything was hunky dory, ahh vell. The exitement at the Bodies never ends...we got fancy little clock-in cards today & Gene left the building and is trusting me to not screw anything up...good stuff. I'm gonna to try to wrap my mind around some Chomsky..
