a useless update.
so as you may have read, i am in my new house. there was some getting use to. i have never lived in an old house before and i've never had a cat before, much less three of them. its a change, but not an altogether bad one. its somewhat usless that i am being forced to move into richardson towers at the end of the week as i begin my thrid job of being an orientation guide. however, it won't be too bad since i like my roomate and i am only forced to stay there on nights that orientation for new students is actually taking place.
right now i am reading a book by nick hornby (author of high fidelity and about a boy), and its somewhat unsettling. its about a middle-aged married couple after things have gone wrong (ie- the chances that after twenty years of marriage you might not think of your spouse as all that attractive or interesting are very likely). its not an uplifting read but it fills the empty time at work.
dan is leaving tomarrow so i plan on seeing him tonight and before the end of the week i hope to get to a movie theatre to see shrek2. i haven't talked to anna zab this week, but i hope she is still planning on staying with me this week, although there was some talk the other night with dave that she might be starting her new job soon, which would put a damper on her visit plans.
also hoping to get to see kristin soon when she is feeling better and plan that slumber party with sophie and brendan, since i haven't seen either of you in a bit (soph's got an exuse though;) ).
also looking forward to a care package at the end of the week. whoohoo!
