DAMN YOU, YOU LIBERAL COMMIE MEDIA!
I'm watching a video of Tim Russert interviewing Nancy Pelosi and it's interesting to see what's happening.
I've watched a lot of news interviews of politicians, both Republican and Democrat, and I've started noticing a trend. When it's a Republican on the hotseat, the hosts joke more, laugh more and generally give the politician the time to say what they came to say. When it's a Dem, the questions are usually pretty leading, anything they say is spun negatively (feeds into the whole "leading" thing) and the host refuses to allow the conversation to move to anything positive. I might be biased, but even that couldn't cover the gap between interviewing styles.
From what I've seen of Nancy Pelosi, I like her. She has decent positions on issues and she speaks her mind (well, more than the rest of the douchey politicians in our Congress right now).
I don't know what I was expecting when I clicked to watch the video... an honest and open discussion on what the Democrats might do if they take the House maybe. Stupid liberal media is getting me down.
