So for the moment....
Weds-Friday morning. Staying here. http://www.grandroyalelondon.co.uk/ This is my splurge. Right near Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. Check in, clean up, then over to the Orangery for tea. And I upgraded to the superior double room with breakfast.
Friday-Sunday... staying at Casa Boss. I hear the kitchens have been recently updated. ;^P

And opted for the single room sans breakfast. For the time I'll be there.... well, I chose it because it was near a rail station. Hopefully will make getting to both Highgate and Gatwick easier.
started to do laundry pertaining to things getting packed. Amazing how small one can scrunch a petticoat down.
