Happy VD Everyone!
My day was fairly uneventful.
I went to work this morning for the last day of my current contract with Community Links.
I signed my next contract (which is from Feb 15th-May11th on paper but I don't start work until March 13th) and found out that because of the fiscal year ending on March 31st, I am going to get paid half of my total contract (which is why they changed the starting dates) on March 31st so that 1/2 of my payment will be in the fiscal year (for spending report reasons) which is fine by me!
Then I went to class, went to Sobeys to pick up some things and came home.
Nathan called but we didn't really do anything for each other today since I will be seeing him in 3 days! :D
I finished Tea from an Empty Cup after supper which completes all of the things I wanted to get done before Spring Break- w00t.
I sent a bunch of people flowers today from work since I also got all of my required things done there early (e flowers :P).
I was going to go and get legs waxed or see a movie or go to rock_lee902's or something else but I've decided to sit on my ass and play Harry Potter instead. :P
(unless something more interesting comes up between now and later)
Tomorrow is also a routine day but it will be the last day of classes for me for a while- whoo!
Thursday I am going to Wolfville to pick up things etc... I still would like some road trip buddies- anyone in?
Friday I fly out at 5pm which means I should be leaving here to go to the airport around 2:30-3:00pm. :)
Apparently there was voting today for the new SMUSA executive, I usually vote even for the sake of voting but today I just didn't care. Neither SMU nor Acadia will still take responsibility for me (that bursary still never went through) so I just want to get into PACE and get out of here.
I burnt my lip (the very bottom of my bottom lip) yesterday whilst tanning and the tanning lady was a bitch, I hope that she's in a better (and more logical) mood tomorrow.
3 days till Boston and 18 sleeps till Dominican!
