Aloha. I'm back at the internet cafe because as long as my phone line is fucked up my internet won't work. I called the bastards at bell Canada again today and they say it'll be fixed by Monday but that's what they said about last Monday. I'm very pissed off.
To calm my anger I went shopping. I made the mistake of going into Marciano and the even bigger mistake of spending $150 on a silk camisole. It was the charming sales girl's fault I tell you! Then, naturally, I had to buy a $60 blazer to go with it. And, of course, I have $160 shoes on order that should be in on Monday, but I NEED those for work.
Yeah, so sorry to anyone who's tried to call me and gotten a fax machine. You DO have the right number. The only advice I can give is to hang up and call back RIGHT away and you should get my voice mail. Or try on Monday, but I have severe doubts about that.
So, I'll be back in the city on Thursdsay. I can't believe how soon that is. This means that I've been living here for a month. How did that happen?
Work's o-k. A little difficult still because they is SO MUCH to remember about the cash registers. The people there seem kinda... mean? snobby? something... apparently the work atmosphere there hasn't been so good lately. They won't have a permanent manager for another month. I still have to go for cell phone training at some point but that means MORE TO REMEMBER. Serving the customers is way fun though, especially when it's busy. Plus, there IS an adorable boy that works there who is actually nice. I'm nervous for my first real shift alone. That'll probably be Monday. I hope he's working.
All in all, life is peachy. The H&M at the Eaton Centre is open now, so that's always fun. I'm addicted to their accessories.
