(no subject)
Well, it's sure been a while. A LOT'S happened. I quit my job at the end of February (the last day of the month, actually) and, consequently, ended up in the emrgency room that same night. I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured. I was bleeding internally for a long time before they operated and I lost half my blood. Two transfusions and four days in the hospital later, I was back in my little apartment, kinda freaked out and very weak and anemic. I spent the rest of the month recovering and finishing classes.
At the beginning of this month I was set on being happy and healthy (that sounds really lame, but March was a really bad month). I started looking for a job but about a week and a half ago I started getting incredibly tired. Not in an anemia sorta way, an all out exhaustion kinda way. So now I'm just trying to sleep properly and it's quite the chore. Seriously, you don't realize how much you take your health for granted until your body gets fucked up.
I got into U of T for fall to do philiosphy and stuff. I was actually decided on coming home to Winnipeg for the whole summer and working until school starts but I went and complicated things. I decided on a whim to give the Toronto film school a call and now I'm auditioning for their 15 month acting program starting July 1st. (asuming my health gets better, otherwise I'd start October 1st) But this is all asuming I get in. I really want to though. This program sounds so perfect for me and I just want to act already. My audition is a week tomorrow and the good thing is, they tell you whether or not you got in right there on the spot. But it's competitive...
Kate's coming tomorrow! I'm hoping having her here will relax me enough to be able to sleep properly. This Saturday is mine and David's 6 month anniversary. Not that I'm really into all that lame couple stuff... not really. We're planning on getting Kate really stoned and taking advantage of her in the cemetary by my place. Haha, sounds romantic, doesn't it?
As far as summer, I won't know what I'm doing until the audition's done. I really would like to stay here, but only if I get in. My film partner from Ryerson wants to make a movie with me this summer so I'd like to be here for that. David's moving to Halifax with his mom in July. Ew... don't like thinking about that. Well, till next Wednesday, I'll just have a blast with Kate and try to relax into regular sleeping paterns again.
