Well, we have now had Malcolm for 5 weeks. He is growing really fast and is doing really well. He is actually a really good sleeper at night, so that is a blessing. He usually sleeps around 4-6 hours at a time, although he will not go to bed before 10:30-11:30 at night, which is interesting. He sleeps less during the day, but since we discovered the swing (sometimes the only thing that will keep him calm), we have been doing much better.
Malcolm had his first babysitter on Saturday (our friends Cynthia and Darcy), and we went to the Great Big Sea concert. I have never seen them perform live before. They are fantastic. They did a much slower version of Sea of No Cares that I liked quite a bit better than the original. They played a few songs from their newest album, none of which I had heard before.
A couple of the songs I enjoyed quite a bit, including Walk on the Moon and England.
Nothing else too exciting going on. We have made it up to the cottage once so far, and we plan to go up again when Ian gets home from the FA event this weekend. The cottage was beautiful as always, although there were still black flies up there, which is quite odd. Apparently they are hanging around a lot longer than usual this year. Malcolm got his first black fly bite (3 of them actually), but they did not seem to bother him at all. Mine on the other hand were rather annoying....
I think that's all I have to say for now. Later!
