Yes, more baby talk

Even though I want to talk about other things, baby stuff really is the most interesting topic of conversation for me at the moment. We are currently counting down the days to when Baby comes. My due date is 18 days away, however, Baby is engaged (i.e. his head is fixed in my pelvis, as opposed to floating), and he has turned to be in the right ( Read more... )

I played the September and October events at FA and the winter day mod. The September event I did not know for sure I was pregnant, but it was a possibility, and at hte October event I knew, but had only told the plot team. I was on plot at the time, so I had some flexibility in terms of roles. At October I pretty much just played a non-combat "peace angel", who ran around and helped the PCs out of the various jams they got into during the event, while the rest of the plot team tried to kill them all. It was fun!

At the day mod I was pc'ing and very obviously pregnant, so I just stayed non-combat. FA has got a very good, clear, no-combat policy (about to be made better with the rules change coming out this week), so it was not a big deal. I am playing a doctor, so the role is all non-combat anyway.

Overall, I have been quite active, compared to some pregnant women. I work downtown and take the GO train into work, so I get a 30 minute walk every day. That has made a huge difference in terms of my health, I believe. Overall I feel great, but I am looking forward to not being pregnant anymore. Besides having a baby, I will be able to fit through small spaces again!

If you are around, we are going to have a barbeque at the beginning of July. If you can take the GO train out to Ajax, I can have someone pick you up and you can come see our place and the baby!

I would very much love that. I'll keep an eye out for details.

thanks for the info. There's the start of a debate about pregnant women amonst the officers of my club. I figured you would be a great person to get some info from. This helps a lot. Thanks!
