initial d live action film, ryousuke's hair, t_c
finally saw the initial d live action movie. ^_^ despite the fact that it took me 3 tries to get it.
the movie version was um....interesting, lol. am a bit miffed at how they changed the story and wrote out a bunch of characters. esp what they did to bunta. >_< how did he go from awesomely cool dad to all-around drunk?! and movie-ryousuke just didn't have anywhere near the trademark charisma that defines his character. *sighs* edison chen is cute but he just didn't quite fit as ryousuke. not that the script left him much to work w/ anyway. and i couldn't stop snickering over the circus-mobile that the ryouichi transported his car in. XDD
still, the movie wasn't too bad overall. good shots for the racing scenes and some decent bgm. but the anime is definitely much better. so is it december yet? XD tho i'll be sad to see 4th stage end...still crossing fingers for a 5th stage, even if it's just a movie like 3rd stage was. i needs my initial d fix!
and funnily enough, i went back and watched bits of 1st and 2nd stage and realized, man has the character design for ryousuke changed A LOT. particularly, his hair. XDDD during 1st stage he had black hair then 2nd stage he suddenly went reddish-brown (?! but oh, he was so pretty ^^) and in 4th stage his hair is *purple*. i am so amused...XDDDDD

top_cagnotte. whoo! finished the sucker as of 12:40 am this morning. and by finished i mean 'refuse to poke at it anymore' despite its suckyness. still, 'tis done. *dances* wonder when we start posting these things? nm, just got the email along w/ my other requests. hmm, my posting date's still a while off. now i'm tempted to mess with it more. >_< or redo it...*smacks self* then again, maybe not. *is lazy* XDDD
anyway, now that t_c's done i fully plan to reward myself by wasting a few hrs marathoning some hikaru no go which i fi~nally got. hee! ^_~
and randomly, just wanted to express my love for google and their blogsearch engine. it helps me find rare!fandom!fic. ^___^ so v.helpful. *gleee!*
